Nghiên cứu này nhằm mục đích đánh giá hoạt động chống đái tháo đường (ức chế α-glucosidase) và oxy hóa (trung hòa gốc tự do DPPH; tiềm năng khử sắt) in vitro của cao khô vỏ bưởi Năm Roi. Các tăng glucose huyết hạ lipid máu vivo Roi ở chuột đái tháo đường alloxan monohydrate gây ra đã được thực hiện. Cao có khả ức chế enzym α-glucosidase hóa. sử dụng liều lượng thích hợp 100, 200 400 mg/kg cho làm giảm đáng kể (p<0,05) hàm lượng huyết, triglycerid, cholesterol toàn phần, LDL-cholesterol VLDL-cholesterol trong thanh nhóm chuột sử dụng so với kiểm soát bệnh đường. Nồng độ HDL-cholesterol cùng khối cơ thể đã được cải thiện những con điều trị bằng monohydrate. Những kết quả chứng minh tác lợi việc các biến liên quan đến bệnh
